P!nk has denied rumors connecting her to Sean “Diddy” Combs after speculation arose about her deactivated X (formerly Twitter) account. The rumors began circulating this week after some online users suggested that the pop star wiped her account to hide links to Diddy, who is currently facing charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. However, P!nk clarified that she had deactivated her account months ago.
“I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!!” P!nk wrote on Instagram, addressing the rumors directly. She shared a screenshot of her final tweet, which read, “This account will self destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!!” She further emphasized, “There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned.”
P!nk is not the only artist caught in the wave of speculation surrounding Diddy’s ongoing legal case. Usher also faced similar rumors when his departure from X sparked speculation, though he later explained on Sunday that his account had been hacked. “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it!” Usher tweeted, dispelling any connection to the allegations.
Diddy, who has been denied bail twice, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He faces a potential life sentence if convicted on charges of physical abuse, forced labor, bribery, and other crimes.
