In the latest Netflix documentary series about Vince McMahon, the former WWE Chairman and CEO made several unexpected statements, including his desire to keep his personal life private. In episode 1 of the series, McMahon shared his unwillingness to let people see the real version of him. The 78-year-old promoter revealed, "I don't want anybody to really know me."
During the interview, McMahon refused to divulge any significant personal stories, saying, "I wish I could tell you the real stories. Holy s**t. No! That's what I'm saying. I don't want to tell you these stories. I'll give you enough that's semi-interesting. I don't want anybody to really know me." The documentary was filmed before allegations of sexual harassment against McMahon surfaced, specifically involving former WWE employee Janel Grant.
Earlier this week, McMahon issued a statement addressing the documentary, claiming that certain segments may have been exaggerated or taken out of context. He urged viewers to keep an open mind and not let specific parts shape their overall perception of him.
