Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, widely regarded as one of the richest and most successful actors in the film industry, has a surprisingly strong academic background, as revealed in recent media reports.

While many believe that formal education is not a requirement for success in the entertainment world, Shah Rukh Khan proves that a balance of talent, passion, and education can coexist. The actor, known as the King of Bollywood, had initially set out to complete a master's degree before his passion for acting took over.

Shah Rukh Khan received his early education at St. Columba’s School in New Delhi, where he scored 80.5% in his 12th-grade exams.

He then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. Following this, he enrolled in Jamia Millia Islamia to pursue a master’s degree, but left the programme midway to follow his acting dreams.

Since rising to global stardom, Shah Rukh has earned several honorary degrees. In 2009, he received a doctorate in Arts and Culture from the University of Bradford. In a significant milestone, he became the first international actor to be honoured with a doctorate from Malaysia. In 2015, the University of Edinburgh awarded him an honorary doctorate, followed by another in Philanthropy from the University of Law in 2019.

Shah Rukh Khan's academic journey, combined with his professional achievements, highlights his dedication to personal growth and global impact.
