RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi City Traffic Police (CTP) has taken a commendable initiative by organising awareness lectures in madrassa and religious schools to educate children about traffic laws.

Under the directives of Rawalpindi CPO Khalid Hamdani, the education wing of the CTP has begun sessions for students in religious seminaries about traffic laws and road safety.

Students were provided information about traffic, road safety and traffic signs through a ready-made programme at Rawalpindi Jamia Islamia Rawalpindi.

Officials stated that the aim was to raise awareness about traffic laws among every segment of society. During the awareness session, students at Jamia Islamia showed great interest in the programme. The administration of the school also praised the efforts of CPO Khalid Hamdani and the education wing.
