Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif marked the International Day of Peace by paying homage to the martyrs who sacrifice their lives for the cause.
In a message, she offered salutations to the border security forces, police and other security forces for peace. "Sustainable peace is indispensable for the development of Pakistan. Tribute is also due to all champi-ons of peace who are making efforts to resolve conflicts as flowers of prosperity bloom from peace," she stated.
The chief minister said, "Every member of the society should play his role for the establishment of peace. Those who follow the path of violence and anarchy are enemies of peace and stability of the homeland."
