Former President Donald Trump shared a doctored image on his Truth Social platform, that falsely depicted Vice President Kamala Harris with Sean "Diddy" Combs, alongside a caption questioning if she was involved in his alleged "freak offs."
The Republican presidential candidate later deleted the post.
The image was an edited version of a 2001 photograph of Harris with former talk show host Montel Williams and his daughter, with Combs’ face replacing Williams'.
The post came amid Combs' recent arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The indictment followed a series of lawsuits filed against the music mogul, including one from his former girlfriend, Cassie, who alleged physical abuse and rape in a 2023 lawsuit. Combs has denied her claims, and they reached a settlement shortly after the suit was filed.
Prosecutors have accused Combs of orchestrating "freak offs," described as prolonged sex acts involving victims who were allegedly coerced through the use of narcotics to remain compliant.
The indictment also alleges the involvement of commercial sex workers in these activities.
Trump’s post is not the first instance of him sharing manipulated images during his campaign.
He has previously shared AI-generated photos, including a false depiction of Taylor Swift and her fans endorsing him, and another of Harris supposedly addressing a crowd of communists at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Both Trump and Harris have publicly interacted with Combs in the past.
Harris once praised Combs in a 2020 social media post for leading a town hall on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Black communities.
Meanwhile, Trump previously described Combs as a “good friend” during a 2012 episode of "Celebrity Apprentice." Old photos of Trump and Combs have since resurfaced on X, receiving over a million views.
The Harris campaign has not commented on the doctored image, while the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
