TLP leader's judicial remand extended

ATC extended the judicial remand of Maulana Muhammad Tahir Saifi, a leader of TLP

LAHORE:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the judicial remand of Maulana Muhammad Tahir Saifi, a leader of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), involved in inciting people against the top judge of the country, for another 14-day on Friday.

Earlier, the police produced the TLP leader before ATC Judge Irfan Haider at the expiry of his judicial remand.

The investigation officer submitted that the challan (charge sheet) was at the final stage of the preparation and would be filed soon. He pleaded with the court to extend judicial remand of the accused.
