Socialite Bettina Anderson was seated directly behind Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle at the recent Republican National Convention, as reported by Page Six.
The Daily Mail reported last week that Don Jr. was spotted looking cozy with Anderson — even “locking lips” — during a brunch at Honor Bar in Palm Beach, and the encounter has become the "talk of the town."
The tabloid also released additional photos of Anderson and Don Jr. attending the same party in Jupiter, Florida, last month, which reportedly was not attended by Guilfoyle.
In mid-July, Anderson, 37, was photographed sitting behind Trump and Guilfoyle at the convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as Page Six has learned.
The stylish socialite was in attendance at the Wednesday night of the GOP event, captured applauding in a glamorous red outfit.
She was also seen chatting with Don Jr.'s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, 46, at the event, and sources say the two are close friends. It's reported she attended the event with Vanessa.
In some of the photos, the pair were seated next to one another and were positioned near other members of the Trump family.
Anderson can also be seen in the background of an image posted by Don Jr. on Instagram, where he is pictured with Hulk Hogan at the convention.
A GOP insider shared that the seat Anderson occupied was “open” and “not an assigned seat.”
Meanwhile, in Palm Beach, opinions vary on the status of Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle's relationship, with some saying they're on the rocks, while others claim they’re stronger than ever. The couple is set to appear together at a Texas conservative youth conference on Friday.
Trump allies have downplayed the brunch photos with Anderson, describing them as exaggerated and part of a smear campaign against Don Jr., 46.
Both sides also emphasized that Anderson is a close friend of Don Jr.'s ex-wife, Vanessa.
