Family Feuds: Sons torture father over property

Father submitted an application with the Mumtazabad police to take action against his sons.

MULTAN: Former MNA Mian Atta Qureshi was tortured by his sons over property on Friday evening. According to police officials, former Muzaffargarh MNA Mian Atta Qureshi was engaged in a longstanding property dispute with his son Tanveer. On Thursday, Tanveer and his brother Imran reached their father’s residence in Mumtazabad and beat him with sticks and a lead pipe. Qureshi was seriously injured and was shifted to Nishtar hospital. He has submitted an application with the Mumtazabad police to take action against his sons.
