Harry and Meghan reveal stance in US election after previous accusations of endorsing Joe Biden

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently celebrated National Voter Registration Day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly planning to remain publicly neutral in the upcoming US presidential election, encouraging Americans to vote without showing support for any particular candidate.

On Tuesday, the couple celebrated National Voter Registration Day by having their Archewell team participate in a letter-writing initiative.

Staff members sent letters to unregistered voters, urging them to take part in the upcoming election.

The statement said: "Voting is not just a right; it's a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities."

"At The Archewell Foundation, we recognize that civic engagement, no matter one's political party, is at the heart of a more just and equitable world."

"By participating in initiatives like this, we aim to amplify the message that every voice matters."

According to The Telegraph, the letters did not endorse any particular candidate, instead focusing on encouraging voters to use their voice.

The couple encouraged readers to "join us in this important effort" by volunteering their time to write letters to unregistered voters.

The statement concluded: "Together, let’s make sure every eligible voter is informed and empowered to participate in shaping America’s future."

This comes after the couple faced accusations of endorsing Joe Biden in the last US election when they filmed a video message from their new Montecito home.

In that video, Prince Harry told US voters to "reject hate speech" while Meghan referred to the 2020 presidential race as the "most important election of our lifetime."

At the time, Prince Harry said: "This election I am not able to vote in the US. But many of you may not know that I haven't been able to vote in the UK my entire life. As we approach this November, it's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity."
