Nick Cannon has provided an update on how his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, is handling the recent deaths of her mother and sister. In an interview with Page Six, Cannon explained that the pop icon is "doing the best that she possibly can" after losing both her mom and sister in August.

Cannon, who was married to Carey from 2008 to 2016 and shares 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with her, said that Mariah is focusing on spending time with their children to help manage her grief. "She’s having a great time with the kids," Cannon shared, adding that family support is essential during this difficult period.

Mariah recently posted photos on Instagram from her trip to the Great Wall of China with her twins. She also shared a video captioned, “Back at work,” where she thanked her fans for their love and support as she prepares for her upcoming shows in China and Brazil.
