With iOS 18, iPhone users can now enjoy a revamped Control Center, featuring multiple pages and an array of customizable controls.

One of the most notable changes includes adjustments to the Connectivity widget, which now places the Bluetooth toggle behind an additional tap.

However, users can easily bring the toggle back to the top level for quick access, similar to iOS 17. Here's how to add the Bluetooth toggle back for one-tap access.

By default, the Control Center in iOS 18 consists of three pages: frequently used settings, a media control page, and HomeKit controls. While it offers a more customizable layout, users will find that accessing the Bluetooth settings requires more steps.

The good news is that you can modify the layout and restore the one-tap Bluetooth toggle functionality. These instructions apply to both iPhones running iOS 18 and iPads using iPadOS 18.

To add the Bluetooth toggle:

  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open the Control Center.

  2. Long-press on an empty area to enter editing mode.

  3. Tap the 'Add a Control' button at the bottom.

  4. Scroll down to find the Connectivity section.

  5. Tap the circular Bluetooth control to add it.

Now, with a single tap, you can toggle Bluetooth on or off. For more details, long-press the Bluetooth control to see a list of connected devices. Users can also resize the toggle and even place multiple Bluetooth controls across different pages if desired.
