Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan faced a dramatic semi-final clash against China.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw after regular time, with China taking the lead in the second quarter and Pakistan's Ahmed Nadeem equalising in the third quarter.

The match was decided by a penalty shootout, which saw China emerge victorious, earning them a spot in the finals.

The final will see China compete against India, who had secured their place by defeating South Korea 4-1 in the second semi-final. India aims for its fifth Asian Champions Trophy title, a record if they overcome China in today’s final.

Despite the semi-final setback, Pakistan's triumph over South Korea demonstrated their resilience and skill, capping off a strong tournament performance.
