Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban has expressed interest in purchasing Twitter/X and Fox News from Elon Musk. In a Wired magazine interview, Cuban mentioned his desire to buy both platforms, stating, "If I had enough money to do it, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.” Cuban also discussed how he’d like to disrupt the media landscape, just as he did in the pharmaceutical industry with Cost Plus Drugs.

Cuban’s career on Shark Tank, where he was a prominent investor for 13 seasons, has earned him significant fame. However, he recently announced his departure from the show, choosing to focus on other ventures like health care reform and media disruption. Cuban’s ambition to reshape industries is evident in his post-Shark Tank career, where he continues to pursue bold business opportunities, such as potentially acquiring major media outlets.

Cuban’s outspoken criticism of Musk’s management of Twitter/X, including claims that the platform is manipulated through its algorithm, highlights his concerns about social media's role in shaping public discourse. His interest in Fox News stems from his belief that the network could benefit from change, though he acknowledges the financial challenge in acquiring such a media giant.

While Cuban doesn’t have the financial resources currently to pursue these acquisitions, his comments have sparked curiosity about the future of media ownership and whether Cuban will play a significant role.
