Suki Waterhouse revealed that she’s turning to Reddit for parenting advice after welcoming her first child.

Suki Waterhouse, the 32-year-old actress and model, recently opened up about her journey into parenthood after welcoming her first child with fiancé Robert Pattinson in March 2024. During an appearance on SiriusXM's Ben +1 show, Waterhouse admitted she didn’t prepare much for motherhood, saying, "I did not read any bloody books." Instead, she found comfort in online platforms like Reddit, joking that she’ll "probably" learn how to raise her child there. Reflecting on the experience, she shared, “There’s something really wonderful about preparing for this complete unknown.”

Waterhouse further explained that she and Pattinson had decided to embrace the surprises of parenthood. "We were both actually just like, let's be surprised by the whole thing," she said. Although they didn’t follow traditional preparation methods, Waterhouse found the process insightful and healing, especially in how it allowed her to connect more deeply with her own mother. "It’s incredibly healing when you look to your own mom and just have this whole other level of understanding," she noted.

In a previous interview with Vogue, Waterhouse discussed how she performed at Coachella shortly after giving birth, describing the period as "intense." Despite the challenges, she remains optimistic about navigating parenthood and embracing the unexpected.
