Several stars at the 2024 Emmys, including Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton) and Dallas Goldtooth (Reservation Dogs), showcased their support for an Israel-Hamas ceasefire by wearing symbolic red pins. The pin, featuring a red background, orange hand, and black heart, represents calls for a permanent ceasefire, the release of hostages, and humanitarian aid for Gaza, according to Artists4Ceasefire.

Other celebrities, such as Devery Jacobs and Brittani Nichols, also wore the pin, using their platform to raise awareness about the ongoing conflict and advocate for peace and humanitarian action amid the Israel-Hamas war.

In addition to the red carpet statements, the event saw delays due to pro-Palestinian protests outside the Los Angeles venue. Demonstrators, carrying signs with messages such as "No justifying the murder of children," created a brief disruption, echoing similar protests that affected the Oscars earlier this year.

The 2024 Emmy Awards, co-hosted by Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, took place at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.
