Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on 8th September.
The couple announced with a heartwarming Instagram post, simply captioned, “Welcome baby girl.”
According to reports, the new parents have opted for a traditional parenting approach. Rather than hiring a nanny, Deepika and Ranveer are said to prefer caring for their newborn themselves.
This decision mirrors that of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who similarly chose to not hire a nanny for her child.
Sources further suggest that the couple may follow in the footsteps of other celebrity parents like Alia Bhatt and Virat Kohli, choosing to shield their daughter from the media by not revealing her face publicly and possibly implementing a ‘no paparazzi’ policy.
Deepika, who has been balancing a busy career, is set to take a break from her professional commitments. She will reportedly remain on maternity leave until March 2025, after which she plans to return to the screen with the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is preparing for several upcoming projects, including Singham Again and Don 3, where he will be seen alongside Kiara Advani.
As they embark on their new journey into parenthood, the couple has been receiving visits from close friends and family, including Shah Rukh Khan and the Ambani family. Fans are eager to catch a glimpse of the couple’s baby girl, but it remains to be seen when or if they will introduce her to the public.
