On Friday, September 13, Playboi Carti took to Instagram to celebrate the release of his new single "All Red" and confirmed that Ye will have a significant role in his highly anticipated album.

Sharing a screenshot of a message from Ye, which simply said, “love it,” Carti captioned the post, "@ye kant wait 2 show the world what we been working on wit dis album we da real 5L no doubt," leaving fans buzzing with excitement.

Though it’s still unclear what Ye's exact contribution will be, Carti recently collaborated with him and Ty Dolla $ign on their track "Field Trip" from 'Vultures 2', which also featured Kodak Black and Don Toliver.

In addition to the single release, Carti officially announced 'Music' on his website, with digital pre-orders priced at $9.99 and merch bundles available, including a special edition hoodie.

The album, which will drop later this year, doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date, and the merch is set to ship within six months.

Reception to "All Red" has been mixed, with some fans noting that Carti’s deeper voice on the track bears a striking resemblance to rapper Future.
