Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has apologised to fans in London after quickly leaving without taking photos, explaining that a past traumatic incident influenced her reaction in Bandra.
In a social media post, the actress admitted that she panicked when approached by fans seeking selfies while she was alone in London.
The actress revealed that she falsely denied her identity and left the scene due to heightened anxiety triggered by an incident in June, where she was wrongly accused of causing a car accident in Bandra.
The allegations were later disproven by Mumbai police, but the experience left her feeling nervous in public settings.
“I panicked, but I realise now they meant no harm,” she shared.
“They just wanted a picture, and most of the time, I obliged. But since the incident in Bandra, I get a bit nervous when I’m alone. I apologise to those fans and hope they understand.”
She regretted not taking the selfies, emphasising that she strives to be approachable but acknowledged that her past experience has made her more cautious.
She ended her message by apologising again, hoping to reconnect with those fans in the future.
On the professional front, Raveena Tandon will next be seen in Welcome To The Jungle (WTTJ), starring alongside Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Paresh Rawal. The film marks Kumar’s return to the franchise and reunites him with Tandon after two decades.
Previously, the Bollywood actress and her driver were allegedly attacked by a mob in Mumbai after accusations of rash driving.
The incident reportedly occurred when her driver hit three individuals with the vehicle, causing injuries.
An angry crowd gathered, and tensions escalated into an altercation.
When Raveena Tandon got out of the vehicle to address the situation, she was allegedly pushed and assaulted.
According to reports, she was accused of being intoxicated and abusive, but these claims were later disproven.
