'I almost fainted': Amitabh Bachchan recounts humbling encounter with Michael Jackson

Big B shared how seeing Michael Jackson for the first time left him almost fainting in disbelief.

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he was so starstruck upon meeting Michael Jackson for the first time that he almost fainted.

Speaking on the latest episode of his TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, Bachchan shared the story of his encounter with the iconic pop star in New York years ago.

Bachchan recounted how, while staying at a hotel in New York, he received a knock on his door, only to find Michael Jackson standing outside. "I was stunned to see him in person and nearly lost consciousness," said Bachchan, adding that it took him a moment to calm down before greeting the legendary singer.

Jackson, unaware he had the wrong room, asked Bachchan if it was his room. When told it wasn’t, he quickly realised his mistake and left. Later, the pop star sent a message inviting Bachchan for a conversation, and the two spent time talking.

Praising Jackson, Bachchan said despite his immense fame, the singer remained "incredibly humble and kind."

Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, but his music continues to captivate fans worldwide.
