Moldovan cargo plane makes emergency landing in Karachi

Flight from Bangladesh to Azerbaijan diverted to Karachi after developing a technical malfunction over Indian airspace

A Boeing aircraft en route from Dhaka to Baku made an emergency landing in Karachi due to a technical malfunction.

According to details, FlyPro airline’s flight FP 5202 was traveling from Dhaka to Baku when it encountered a technical issue while in Indian airspace. The malfunction reportedly persisted as the aircraft entered Pakistani airspace.

The pilot contacted Karachi air traffic control, and after receiving permission, rerouted the flight. The aircraft was diverted from Sukkur towards Karachi.

The flight made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport at 2:45 AM. The cargo plane remains at Karachi airport for inspection.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the flight landed in Karachi due to a fuel shortage. FlyPro’s flight safely landed without assistance at 2:40 AM

Earlier, Sharjah to Dhaka flight made an emergency landing in Karachi after a 42-year-old passenger died mid-flight. Medical personnel confirmed the death, and the plane departed two hours later with the body onboard.

Qatar Airways Flight QR 932, bound for the Philippines, landed in Karachi due to engine failure at 39,000 feet. The plane landed safely, and passengers were moved to the lounge for inspection.

Ethiopian Airlines cargo flight ET 3644 was diverted to Karachi after failing to land in Ahmedabad. The plane landed safely at Jinnah International Airport and continued its journey later.
