Having completed yet another year around the sun, actor and animal lover Nadia Afgan took to her Instagram handle to compose a humble post on her 54th birthday expressing her love for her near and dear ones.

"As I celebrate another year of life, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the abundance of love and respect I receive daily from my family, friends, and fans," penned the Suno Chanda star. "I strive to be worthy of this blessing, to spread kindness, and to make a difference in the lives of those around me."

Clad in a simple but elegant black outfit contrasted beautifully with a deep red dupatta, Nadia posted a carousel of ten pictures and a video showing the celebrations from her special day. A beaming Nadia was surrounded by her family and friends, and the video showed her beloved husband Jodi Pai (showcasing couple goals) bringing out a beautifully decorated birthday cake ablaze with candles for the birthday girl to blow out.

"I'm humbled by Allah's grace, thankful for the gift of life, and for every breath that fills my lungs," noted Nadia in her post. "Fifty-four years of memories, lessons, and love - each day a blessing, each moment a treasure."

Whilst Nadia's post was the literary equivalent of a blanket hug to the people who make her life special, one person was singled out: her husband.

"To the love of my life, Jodi, my heart beats for you," wrote Nadia. "Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable, for being my rock, and for making every day feel like a celebration of love. You're the sunshine that brightens my world."

Wrapping up her birthday post, Nadia gave a final shoutout to her loved ones with the words, "Here's to another year of living, loving, and being grateful for every moment. Thank you all for being part of my journey."
