Jaime Bennington, the son of the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, is facing aggressive online harassment from some Linkin Park fans following his vocal criticism of the band's decision to hire Emily Armstrong as their new lead vocalist. Jaime's disapproval stems from Armstrong's ties to Scientology and her past support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson.

In his Instagram stories, Jaime expressed concern for his safety at Linkin Park's upcoming concert in Los Angeles, citing "cruel, unusual and aggressive" comments from fans. He even stated, "If anything happens to me or my partner while we are attending this concert, it is on Linkin Park," highlighting the severity of the situation.

Jaime's initial criticism focused on the band's perceived erasure of his father's legacy and betrayal of fan trust. He accused Linkin Park of being "senile and tone deaf." Armstrong responded with a statement clarifying her past association with Masterson and denouncing abuse against women.

Despite the backlash, Jaime plans to attend the concert for closure but urges fans to respect his and his partner's space.

Linkin Park is gearing up for a new album and tour with Armstrong as their lead vocalist, a move that has sparked controversy within the fanbase.
