Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty reshoot 'Singham Again' climax with folk twist

New action scenes were added to Shetty's action-thriller, featuring over 500 extras for a larger-than-life sequence.

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has made last-minute changes to the climax of his upcoming movie Singham Again, just two months ahead of its scheduled release in November.

According to Indian media reports, Rohit Shetty added new action sequences to make the film’s finale more thrilling and dynamic.

The additional scenes were shot at a cigarette factory in Mumbai, featuring over 500 people to create a massive crowd effect for the climactic battle.

The star-studded cast includes Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, with special appearances by Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Tiger Shroff.

Singham Again is set to hit cinemas on 1 November.

A recently released film of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, “Stree 2” has made a remarkable box office run, shattering records and climbing the list of Hindi cinema's highest-grossing films.

Directed by Amar Kaushik and penned by Niren Bhatt, the horror-comedy has now surpassed the Hindi box office collection of Baahubali 2 to secure the title of the fourth biggest Hindi film ever.

In just three weeks, Stree 2 has raked in an impressive Rs503.25 crore, with Rs70.2 crore collected in the third week alone.

Although still ranked as the ninth highest-grossing film in Hindi cinema, Stree 2 is poised to climb further. It's on the verge of overtaking Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, which sits at the eighth spot with a lifetime collection of Rs 525.7 crore.

Another film of Alia Bhatt who is one of the most celebrated talents in Indian cinema, is set to stun audiences once again with her upcoming action-packed film Jigra, where she not only stars but also takes on the role of producer.

After the success of Darlings, her debut as a producer, Alia returns with Jigra, a film that promises intense action, high stakes, and a heartfelt sibling bond.
