Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park’s co-founder, responded to the backlash during a Discord conversation, saying that he understands the shock from fans and acknowledges that it will take time for people to adjust to the new vocalist. However, he urged for respectful discussion and emphasized that disrespect would not be tolerated. The addition of Armstrong and the band’s new album, From Zero, has ignited significant pushback from fans, many of whom remain loyal to Chester’s legacy.
