Selena Gomez recently revisited key moments in her career during a Vanity Fair video, reflecting on her time starring in Wizards of Waverly Place, Spring Breakers, and more. Speaking about Wizards of Waverly Place, Gomez shared, "We did over a hundred episodes of the show and then three movies," expressing gratitude for the experience. She highlighted her close bond with co-star David Henrie, calling him a "big brother" since she grew up without siblings.

Gomez also discussed her transition from Disney to more mature roles, particularly in Spring Breakers, a project she described as "probably still one of my favorite projects." She revealed that her mother was the one who suggested she take on the role, marking a significant shift in her career. "It was a huge release," she said, as she reflected on stepping out of her Disney persona.

She also reflected on her more recent work in Only Murders in the Building, where she felt immediately welcomed by co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. Gomez noted that she was initially nervous but soon found comfort in their camaraderie, saying, "They could not have made me feel more comfortable."

The video showcases Selena’s journey as an actress, with Gomez noting that her career is "just the beginning," and she looks forward to more challenging roles in the future.
