At least two shooting incidents were reported in the federal capital in the last 24 hours. In the first incident, unknown assailants opened fire in the jurisdiction of Margalla police station, killing two individuals and injuring three. Despite the presence of police, cameras and checkpoints, the attackers easily fled after the shooting and killing civilians.
According to details, the shooting incident took place on Saturday morning in a private tower located in the area of ??Margalla police station in Islamabad, where unknown persons went into the tower and opened fire. The civilians who died in the firing were identified as Shahzad Satti and Kavish.
The deceased Shehzad Satti was a currency dealer, while the other victim, Kavish, was a security guard. Sources say that a fight broke out in the office space situated in the tower, which led the opponents to start firing.
Similarly, another shooting incident occurred on Friday night in Sector I-8, where unknown armed individuals opened fire on a person in the I-8 Markaz. According to eyewitnesses, the victim ran into an under-construction plaza to save his life, but the assailants chased him and entered the plaza, where they killed him. The person killed in this incident was from Mandi Bahauddin. Police said the murder was the result of a long-standing enmity.
