"We do need to talk about boundaries and what is appropriate in terms of behavior," Curry said. She added, "I don’t care if you’re in costume or in character. It’s not okay and it’s not funny to demand those things from me in person." Curry explained that despite her refusal, the fan and his friend persisted, which led to their frustration. "I made it pretty clear that it wasn’t okay, and that only seemed to make this person and their friend angry," she added.

Curry’s character Firecracker in The Boys is known for extreme behavior and actions, which contributed to the shock value of the show. However, Curry emphasized that her performance is a part of her acting, and it is important to separate the character from the person portraying it.
