Jigra teaser: Alia Bhatt goes all out in action-packed prison break to rescue Vedang Raina

Alia Bhatt, one of the most celebrated talents in Indian cinema, is set to stun audiences once again with her upcoming action-packed film Jigra, where she not only stars but also takes on the role of producer.

After the success of Darlings, her debut as a producer, Alia returns with Jigra, a film that promises intense action, high stakes, and a heartfelt sibling bond.

Directed by Vasan Bala, the movie also features Vedang Raina in a pivotal role and is slated to release on October 11.

The teaser trailer offers a glimpse of Alia Bhatt’s character, a sister determined to do whatever it takes to save her brother, who is imprisoned in a foreign country.

The clip opens with Alia, looking solemn, as she reflects on having no one in her life besides her brother, emphasizing the deep bond between the siblings.

As the emotional track "Phoolon Ka Taaron" plays in the background, the teaser quickly shifts gears to show a bloodied Alia, fighting against overwhelming odds to free her brother.

Packed with thrilling sequences, the teaser showcases Alia smashing through prison walls, racing through flames, and narrowly escaping bullets and bombs, all in a desperate attempt to reunite with her brother.

She is supported in her mission by Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran, adding depth to the high-stakes drama.

Jigra marks a collaboration between Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, Somen Mishra, and co-producer Marijke DeSouza.

The film, written by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala, is expected to be a thrilling ride, blending action, emotion, and the unbreakable bond of family. Jigra hits theaters on October 11.
