Alleged arms supplier to criminals held

KARACHI:

SSP Keamari Faizan Ali, during a press conference in his office, announced the arrest of an accused and recovery of ten pistols and bullets from his possession.

The arrested accused, identified as Humayun Khan Pathan, was found to be involved in the illegal trade of weapons, transporting them from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Karachi through different means of transport.

According to SSP Faizan Ali, the accused used to purchase weapons for between Rs15,000 to Rs22,000 and sell them in Karachi for significantly higher prices, ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000. The accused, in the past, has been arrested and jailed for selling illegal arms in Hyderabad.
