KARACHI:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration authorities at the Jinnah Terminal intercepted and offloaded a passenger, Ahmed Shakeel, attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia on 'fake travel documents'.

He was travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah using fake travel documents. During the immigration process, the counter officer noticed a suspicious South African visa in Shakeel's passport, prompting further investigation. Upon closer examination, it was discovered that the security features of Shakeel's passport had been tampered with. It has also come to light that he had previously travelled to Switzerland from Pakistan in 2017 and returned in 2024.
