Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has expressed confidence that all teams, including India, will visit Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled for next year.

Speaking informally to the media during a visit to inspect ongoing construction at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, Naqvi dismissed concerns over BCCI Secretary Jay Shah becoming ICC Chairman.

"There’s no issue with Shah's appointment. We remain in contact with him, meet at ACC meetings, and communicate with all member nations, including India," he said.

Naqvi assured that Pakistan will warmly host all visiting teams during the Champions Trophy. He added, “The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting is scheduled to begin in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. While I won’t attend due to other engagements, I will participate virtually, and Salman Naseer will represent Pakistan.”

He further stated that the ACC presidency for the PCB will be finalised in this meeting.

Addressing the development projects for the Champions Trophy, Naqvi said plans to build a hotel in Lahore have been postponed until after the tournament. “We also plan to construct a hotel in Karachi and have already advertised for it,” he noted.

Naqvi expressed a desire for international companies to submit designs for these hotels to ensure they are built to the highest standards with modern facilities.
