ISLAMABAD:

A think tank, the 'Pattan-Coalition 38', has demanded that the Supreme Court take suo moto notice of 'manipulation in electoral forms'.

'Pattan-Coalition 38' - an umbrella organisation of several civil society organisations, labour unions, and intellectuals - urged that the apex court should take notice of alleged illegal actions of the ECP.

The think tank also called for the resignation of the CEC and ECP members. It also said the electoral watchdog had failed to protect the public's mandate and had unlawfully formed 38 committees for the rectification and attestation of electoral forms to cover up its 'misdeeds'.
