Pakistan cricketer Ahmad Shahzad has once again voiced his disappointment with the national cricket team's performance in the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

In a video posted on his official X handle, Shahzad expressed his frustration, stating, "Pakistan have made another unwanted record against Bangladesh. It seems like Bangladesh cricket team has come only to make records."

"Pakistan bowlers did will to dismiss six Bangladesh batsmen for just 26 runs, but after that, you let a 150-run stand flourish. And this has happened for the first time in history that a team had taken 6 wickets inside 30 runs and then see a 150-run stand for the seventh wicket take the match away," he added.

The opening batter did not shy away from acknowledging the commendable performances of Pakistan's pacers, Mir Hamza and Khurram Shahzad.

"At a time it was looking that things are under your control. These youngsters (Mir Hamza and Khurram Shahzad) who had toiled hard in domestic cricket and hadn't come from Mohenjo-daro, had been waiting for their chances for a long time and today they got an opportunity because some senior bowler was missing and they both delivered for you. Khurram Shahzad bowled well today, hitting the weak areas of the Bangladesh batsmen, exposing their weak techniques and dismissed them," he said.

In the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the hosts were bundled out for 274 runs in their first innings. Pakistan's bowlers initially made significant inroads, reducing Bangladesh to 26-6. However, Litton Das's brilliant century allowed the visitors to recover and eventually post a total of 262 runs.

At the close of Day 3, Pakistan faced a challenging scenario, managing only nine runs while losing two key wickets. The situation further deteriorated on Day 4 as they lost four more crucial players in the first session. Hasan Mahmud's exceptional performance earned him a five-wicket haul, and Pakistan was eventually bowled out for 172, setting Bangladesh a target of 185 runs.
