A pilot has died after a light aircraft crashed onto an industrial estate in Chesterfield, England, on Sunday., Sky News reported.
Derbyshire Police are managing the scene following the crash, which occurred on land off Sheepbridge Lane shortly after 9:00 AM local time.
The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have closed roads in the immediate area and stated that they will remain shut for some time as investigations are conducted.

Emergency response teams, including Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service, were quickly dispatched to the site.
Air traffic tracker Flightradar24 provided additional details, sharing an image of the aircraft's final descent. "The last signal we received from the aircraft was over Sheepbridge at 08:03 UTC at an altitude of 600 feet," the tracker reported.
It also suggested that the aircraft involved was a privately owned Evektor SportStar.
The public has been urged to avoid the area while emergency services work to secure the site and investigate the incident.
