LE SSERAFIM has achieved a remarkable milestone with their latest release. Their title track "CRAZY" has debuted on Spotify with a staggering 2,554,686 streams, making it the biggest debut by a K-pop girl group on the platform in 2024.
According to Spotify’s latest data, "CRAZY" outperformed several major releases by other leading K-pop girl groups, including TWICE’s "I GOT YOU" with 2,268,766 streams, aespa’s "Supernova" with 1,942,333 streams and "Armageddon" with 1,893,656 streams, as well as NewJeans’ "How Sweet" with 1,916,346 streams.
In addition to the title track, LE SSERAFIM’s 4th mini-album, also titled "CRAZY," debuted on Spotify with an impressive 6,186,809 unfiltered streams, surpassing the first-day streams of their previous mini-album "EASY," which garnered 4,969,103 streams.
Released on August 30, "CRAZY" features five tracks, including "Chasing Lightning," "Pierrot," "1-800-hot-n-fun," and "Crazier."
With this album, the group embraces a bold and energetic style, particularly evident in the title track, which leans heavily into the club genre. The song’s house EDM-infused chorus and vibrant performance have captivated listeners worldwide.
LE SSERAFIM, a five-member group formed by HYBE’s subsidiary Source Music, debuted on May 2, 2022, with the single "FEARLESS."
They have since released several hits, including "UNFORGIVEN," "ANTIFRAGILE," and "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife." Earlier this year, the group marked a significant career milestone by performing at Coachella, becoming one of the few K-pop acts to grace the festival’s stage.
