Hillary Clinton withdrew from a Hamptons fundraiser for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz on Monday due to contracting COVID-19, sources report.

In her place, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, attended and spoke at the Sag Harbor event alongside Harris’ husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

The fundraiser took place at the home of prominent art collectors Lisa and Richard Perry, who are known for their collection of works by renowned artists such as Frank Stella, Alexander Calder, Ellsworth Kelly, and Donald Judd.

Tickets for the highest tier were priced at $100,000 each, and an invitation obtained by Page Six highlighted the event as “likely to be one of the last small events in the NY area before the election, so it is not to be missed.”

Sharon and Jon Corzine, Crystal McCrary McGuire and Ray McGuire, Brooke Garber Neidich and Dan Neidich, and Laurie Tisch were listed as chairs of the event, according to the invitation.

A source commented on the Clintons’ involvement, noting that they were not required to attend such events, and the change in plans was made on short notice.

Earlier that day, another Democratic fundraiser took place at the home of MWW chief Michael Kempner, known for his strong support of the Clintons, according to reports.

Another insider shared that the two fundraisers collectively raised over $2 million in just four days, indicating strong support for Harris.

Hillary Clinton, 76, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, received a standing ovation at the Democratic National Convention.
