Earthquake tremors felt in K-P, Islamabad, and surrounding areas

Earthquake tremors were felt across Islamabad and several other cities in Pakistan, including Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, and various parts of Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa.

The magnitude 5.4 earthquake also affected Rawalpindi, Haripur, Swat, and Mansehra districts of Pakistan.

The epicentre of the quake was located in the border region between Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 224.3 km, according to the USGS.

The tremors caused panic among residents, who quickly evacuated their homes and offices, reciting prayers as they moved to safety.

Fortunately, no reports of casualties or damage have been reported so far.
