Four Palestinian journalists have been nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize, in recignition of their fearless reporting during Israel's war on Gaza.
The nominees include:

Their coverage has provided the world with critical insights into the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, with Azaiza sharing his nomination on social media, expressing hope for peace in Palestine.
Before the war, Azaiza was known for highlighting the daily life and beauty of Gaza, but he gained prominence for documenting the wartime struggles of Palestinians.
According to Palestine’s Health Ministry, the Israel's ongoing onslaught on beseiged Gaza has resulted in over 40,405 Palestinian deaths and 93,356 injuries.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee has received 285 nominations for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize, including 196 individuals and 89 organisations, reflecting a wide array of peace advocates involved in conflicts worldwide, such as Gaza and Ukraine.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner will be announced on 11th October, with the award ceremony scheduled for 10th December, continuing the tradition of honouring those who strive for peace and human rights under challenging circumstances.
