KARACHI:

Provincial Fisheries Advisor Syed Najmi Alam has directed all fishermen in Sindh to refrain from going to sea for the next five days.

Reportedly, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall and sea turbulence due to low air pressure and the ongoing monsoon season, particularly affecting the coastal regions of Sindh from August 26 to August 30, 2024.

Owing to the rain predictions, the fishermen have been advised not to enter deep sea for fishing during this period and to secure their boats, engines, and nets in safe locations.
