
Two young men riding on a motorcycle died after being hit by a dumper truck on Sargodha Road.
The police handed over the bodies to the families after completing the legal formalities.
According to local sources, the accident occurred when the speeding dumper hit the motorcycle of 20-year-old Kashif and 19-year-old Salman near the Meeranwala in Nishatabad.
Both young men were severely injured in the accident. They were shifted to the Allied Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police officers arrived at the scene, took custody of the bodies and later handed them over to the relatives.
According to the police, the victims hailed from Muzaffargarh and worked in a factory. Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was injured after a pistol was accidentally fired by a 14-year-old boy. The victim was shifted to Allied Hospital.
According to reports, 14-year-old Shahid was playing with the 30-bore pistol in a grocery store located in Sultan Nagar when suddenly a bullet got fired and hit six-year-old Usman.
The victim was shifted to the Allied Hospital in a critical condition. The police started an investigation.
