National Assembly issues production orders for detained MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq issues production orders to ensure Haji Imtiaz’s presence at the upcoming National Assembly session
The National Assembly Secretariat has issued production orders for Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry, a detained Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-68 Mandi Bahauddin, to attend the upcoming assembly session starting on 26 August 2024.
The orders were issued by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq under the powers vested in him by Rule 108 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business 2007.
Haji Imtiaz has been in the custody of the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment since 24 July 2024, following an FIR registered against him (No. 17/2024).
