Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will avoid reuniting at TIFF premiere of their upcoming film

Lopez has a supporting role in 'Unstoppable' which was produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company.

Do not anticipate any awkward encounters on the red carpet between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

Although the couple may be ending their marriage, they remain professionally connected, with Affleck having produced Lopez’s upcoming movie, “Unstoppable.”

Page Six reports that the divorcing pair will avoid a red-carpet reunion at the Toronto International Film Festival in two weeks when their project premieres.

Lopez has a supporting role in the film, which was produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company, Artists Equity.

A source tells Page Six that Lopez will attend the Canadian film festival for the movie’s Sept. 6 premiere, while Affleck will not be present.

Regardless, reporters may question Lopez, 55, about the couple’s separation while she promotes the film.

Previously, during a panel in Mexico City for her earlier movie “Atlas,” the star shut down a question about her marital status in May.

“You know better than that,” she said with a brief smile, according to a video posted to Instagram during her press tour for the Netflix film.

“Unstoppable” — based on the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles, a one-legged champion wrestler — is directed by William Goldenberg, the editor of Affleck’s 2012 hit “Argo” and his 2023 movie “Air.”

Lopez portrays Robles’ mother in the film, which also features Jharrel Jerome, Michael Pena, and Don Cheadle.

According to the Daily Mail, some producers of the movie are “pushing the two to appear together at the premiere in Toronto to create buzz on the film.”

Vanity Fair recently commented on Lopez landing the role, “It didn’t hurt that Lopez is married to Affleck, though Goldenberg swears that didn’t have much to do with her casting.”

“She had to be somebody who’s lived a life, and I felt like Jennifer was one of the few actresses who could play the part,” the director said.
