Following the cancellation of the Star Wars series "The Acolyte," its star, Amandla Stenberg, has become the target of online harassment. The decision to cancel the show, which focused on women and people of color, has been met with backlash from a vocal segment of the Star Wars fandom.

Stenberg's Instagram posts, once filled with positive messages, are now inundated with hateful comments mocking the show's cancellation and attacking the actor personally. This isn't the first time Star Wars actors have faced such toxicity; Kelly Marie Tran and John Boyega experienced similar harassment in the past.

The issue of online harassment extends beyond Star Wars, with actors from other popular franchises also facing abuse from toxic fans. Lucasfilm has yet to respond to the situation.
