ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court has postponed Thursday's hearing on the petition for the recovery of Azhar Mashwani's two missing brothers due to the unavailability of the petitioner's counsel, Babar Awan.

The court has directed Awan to appear and present his arguments. Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court heard the petition concerning the disappearance of Mashwani's two brothers.

The hearing was delayed because Awan could not attend due to protests and road closures in the Red Zone.

Additional Attorney General Manzoor Iqbal Dogal appeared before the court.

Justice Aurangzeb remarked that he would proceed with the case from a judicial perspective rather than an executive one.

The Additional Attorney General informed the court that the Attorney General had contacted relevant high-level authorities.

The court noted that if any crimes were committed, the individuals should be presented before a magistrate. The case is scheduled for further arguments on Friday (today).
