Andrew Tate has been remanded in custody as part of an investigation into new allegations against him, according to BBC reports.

He and his brother Tristan were taken in for questioning by Romania’s serious crime agency, DIICOT, following searches of their home and three other properties.

The Tates, who already face charges of rape and human trafficking, could now face additional charges, including sex with and trafficking in underage persons, money laundering, and attempting to influence witnesses.

Andrew Tate has denied the allegations, telling the BBC, “Wait 'til you see... They say I have lover-boyed the mother of my children... Ask them this time what the evidence is.”

The brothers were remanded in custody for 24 hours. Their lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, mentioned that the latest allegations were unclear, as he had not yet reviewed the case file.

In a post on X, Andrew Tate responded to the raid by saying, “The Matrix is real... Slander is their number one tool... Good always wins in the end.”

The Tate brothers, former kickboxers, are accused of operating an adult content business as a criminal group and are also wanted in the UK for separate sexual offences.
