Two suspected robbers were killed, while their two accomplices managed to escape after a police encounter in the area of Balochni police station.
A spokesman stated that the police signalled four suspects on motorcycles near Chak Takiyan Wali Saim to stop but they opened fire.
The police returned fire and during the encounter, two suspects were killed, whereas their two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
The deceased were identified as Atif alias Atti and Shoaib alias Shobi, who were wanted by the police in more than 40 cases.
