In a recent TikTok video shared on Olivia Rodrigo’s official account, the singer engaged in the popular “I hope she plays” trend alongside fellow artist Chappell Roan.

Rodrigo playfully stated, “I hope she plays ‘HOT TO GO!’” to which Roan responded, “This is an Olivia Rodrigo concert, b**ch,” before the video transitioned into a clip of the duo performing Roan's hit song, "HOT TO GO!" together.

This memorable collaboration took place during Rodrigo's “Guts” tour at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Tuesday night.

Before bringing Roan on stage, Rodrigo addressed the audience, saying, “I think she is one of the most singular, inspiring, powerful artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I’m so excited because she’s gonna sing one of my favorite songs of all time.”

Roan then joined Rodrigo on stage, where she expressed to the crowd, “We’re gonna sing a song, and we’re gonna teach you a dance.”

The two artists performed a lively duet of “Hot to Go!” with Roan and Rodrigo hopping in unison while executing the signature dance move associated with the track.

This performance marks a significant moment in the final leg of Rodrigo’s U.S. tour before she continues her “Guts” tour across Asia and Australia later this year.

Roan’s appearance at the Los Angeles show was particularly special, as she had originally opened for Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour earlier in 2024. The duo’s relationship dates back to their collaboration with producer Dan Nigro, who has worked closely with both artists. Nigro, known for his role in crafting Rodrigo’s hits like “Vampire” and “Bad Idea Right?,” also produced Roan’s popular track “Good Luck, Babe.”
