Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the foundation for a new 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad.
The new facility, set to enhance medical care for both the public and police personnel, is a collaborative effort between a private Turkish company and the National Police Foundation (NPF).
During the ceremony, Naqvi announced that the Turkish firm will fund the Rs. 5 billion project, while the NPF has provided the land for the hospital.
The facility will offer state-of-the-art medical services to cater to the needs of the community and the police force.
Naqvi emphasized that the primary beneficiaries of this project will be police personnel and the families of martyrs, highlighting the commitment to their welfare through the funds raised by the NPF. He also revealed ongoing discussions about future cooperative projects with the Capital Development Authority.
In addition to the Islamabad hospital, Naqvi noted that the NPF has successfully completed a housing project in Hyderabad and is working on redesigning the National Police Academy, showcasing its broader commitment to improving infrastructure and services for law enforcement across Pakistan.
