Secret files from the Notorious B.I.G. murder investigation are now being utilized in the prosecution of Duane "Keefe D" Davis, who is accused of orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s murder. According to sources, retired Los Angeles police officers have played a crucial role in uncovering evidence from these files, which include thousands of pages of documents that may never be made public.

These documents reportedly contain allegations implicating some of the most significant names in 1990s music. Prosecutors in Las Vegas have been working with these retired officers to strengthen their case against Davis, who is charged with the 1996 murder of Shakur. Marc DiGiacomo, Chief Deputy District Attorney, disclosed in court that the files include testimony from 1997 and identify a witness who had previously implicated Davis.

A Las Vegas law enforcement source indicated that this extensive evidence, accumulated over three years, outlines a detailed case against Davis. The files reportedly reveal accusations against notable music figures from the era, adding another layer of intrigue to the case.

The source emphasized the importance of the retired LAPD officers’ assistance, stating, “Without the help of the ex Los Angeles cops, the case against Keefe would be less concrete.” The evidence also highlights the close collaboration between law enforcement agencies across states to piece together the full story behind the East Coast-West Coast rap feud and Shakur’s death.

The investigation into Shakur's murder, long considered one of the most elusive cases in music history, now faces a pivotal moment as the legal proceedings advance.
